Living in colour

The nicer the weather gets outside, the more fun it is to decorate indoors with fresh colours. Spring cleaning brings with it the desire for change and a fresh lick of paint. Nature is blooming in all sorts of wonderful colours, inspiring us to inject the full spectrum of the rainbow into our lives.

And best of all, you can give your interior design a whole new look without as much as breaking a sweat. Whether it's a few cushions in rich shades, a new set of drapes in your living room or painting your walls in bold colours - we'll show you our favourite colours for 2020 along with stylish ideas and matching accessories for your home.

Pink and yellow – for those who love bold colours

Curtain: ADO Cordon Flow

Cushion - made with ADO fabric ARUBA, vase - Ambiendo, side table - HAY

The trendy combination of pink and yellow has long been popular in the world of fashion. Now this funky combination is making its way into our homes. Cheerful, fresh and carefree - surround yourself in these bright colours. What a great coincidence, then, that our classic design ADO Cordon Flow is also available in these shades!

Combine with: a sleek, minimalistic interior design with lots of white, cream or light grey features is the perfect canvas for this burst of colour. This will really accentuate the colours, without making the room look too fussy.

Turquoise – for a breath of fresh air at home

Picture - Desenio, candle - Butlers, sideboard - Impressionen

Curtain: ADO transparent fabric Anisja

Turquoise combined with white is what dreams are made of. It makes us immediately think of clear skies reflected on an infinite ocean surface. Incorporating turquoise into your interior design gives it a sense of Scandinavian clarity, and because of its levity and freshness, it's perfect for both small and large rooms. This colour has a calming effect and also boosts concentration. The semi-transparent net curtain Anisja, with its playful leaf applications, works particularly well as part of a crisp Scandi look.

Combine with: Decorations in gold look particularly harmonious, add a refined touch and give the room warmth. A mixture of light grey tones and a pastel turquoise looks discreet, Scandinavian and ultramodern - you'll never tire of this soothing combination.

For colour starters - mixing pastels

Curtain: ADO fabric NARAN

clock - KARLSSON, side table - Sklum, rug - Made
