Thanks to their technology, antiviral textiles are a good preventative measure for added hygiene, not only in clinics, hospitals, retirement homes or other areas with higher hygiene requirements and/or higher visitor frequency, but also – during and after the pandemic – increasingly in our own four walls.

How do antiviral fabrics work?

In the manufacture of our antiviral fabrics, silver ions are incorporated into the fibers and firmly anchored during the finishing process. The silver ions disrupt important functions in the microorganism so that cell division can no longer take place. The antimicrobial effect is thus achieved by the fabric finish. It protects against bacteria, mold and fungi. Fabrics with antimicrobial finish are washable at a maximum of 30°C.
